Frequently asked questions

Is it really free without signing up?

Yes. You can create and download a stamp PNG without an account or payment.

Will my download have a watermark?

Previews have a watermark and an opaque background. The final file from Save PNG has a transparent background and no visible watermark.

Why does the background look white or black?

Some viewers display transparent areas as white or black. Insert the original downloaded PNG, not a screenshot, into a document to check. Send it as a file to avoid image conversion in messaging apps.

Do you store my name?

The name is sent to the API for image generation, but is not recorded in usage statistics or logs. Your input and completed PNG remain only in the current tab’s memory.

I don’t know the Hangul spelling of my name.

First check how you want your name written in Hangul, then type or paste it here. Spellings vary with pronunciation. Stampng does not automatically translate or transliterate names.

Can I use Hanja too?

Fonts marked Hangul · Hanja support some Hanja. Coverage varies and some characters may be unavailable. A non-Hanja font may be replaced by Noto Serif KR.

Can I use it on a phone or tablet?

Save the PNG from your browser, then use Insert Picture in your document app. Download locations and features depend on the device, browser and app.

Can I change the name or shape afterwards?

Use Edit and create again on the result page to keep your choices while editing. Reloading the page clears the input and image.

Can I download fonts or SVG files?

The download is a PNG image. Stamp font files and source SVGs are not provided.

How many characters can I enter?

The web supports 1–4 characters for circle/ellipse, 1–16 for square/rounded square and 1–2 for approval seals. Spaces are removed. Suffixes are optional, so also check the complete text in the preview.

Why can a two-character name add 의인 or 之印?

Personal seals with two-character names can add 의인/의신/의장 (之印/之信/之章); three-character names add 인/신/장 (印/信/章). Select None for the name alone. This does not apply to approval seals or other lengths.

My result disappeared after reloading.

Input and result stay only in tab memory; there is no server archive to download them again. If you saved the PNG, check Downloads or your Files app. Otherwise create it again.

What if sharing is not supported?

Your device and browser must support PNG file sharing. Otherwise save the PNG and attach it in email or messaging. The Share button does not upload it to a public result URL.

Should I keep pressing Create after a preview error?

Read the error instead of repeatedly submitting. Change font for unsupported characters, or shorten the text/change shape for length limits. For connection failures, retry later; report persistent problems with fictional text and selected options.
