EspañolFit a Korean stamp into an Excel worksheet
Place a transparent stamp in Excel and keep its size under control. Compare pictures in and over cells, object properties, print areas and page scaling.

The essentials in three steps
- For overlap over (인), start with a picture over cells rather than inside a cell.
- Check picture properties and proportions so resizing cells does not distort the stamp.
- Print scaling also scales the stamp. Judge the final print preview, not only the sheet.
1Before you start: original PNG and a document copy
- Use Save PNG on the result page, not a screenshot of the watermarked preview.
- Work on a copy. Check your authority to use the stamp and the file format required by the recipient.
- If the signature area contains (인), use it as the placement reference and keep the name and required text legible.
2Place the picture over cells
Use Insert → Pictures, then move the PNG over the signature area. Placing an image inside a cell is different from floating it over cells; choose the option that fits your sheet.
3Check proportions and object properties
Resize with the aspect ratio locked. In picture properties, decide whether the stamp should move or resize when rows and columns change, then test the setting.
4Check print preview
Check the print area and page scaling. Page breaks and fit-to-page settings can affect the apparent size and position even when the worksheet looks right.

- If placed in a cell, check whether you can switch to Place over Cells. Overlaying a merged signature area differs from storing a picture as cell data.
- Fitting a large sheet to one page shrinks both text and stamp. Set the needed print area, orientation and page count, then recheck size.
6Check before sending
- Close and reopen the saved document to check that the image is included.
- Check for clipping at page or table edges and legibility of the name and (인) beneath the stamp.
- If submitting a PDF or printout, check size, position and transparency in that final output too.
Questions about this guide
Must it be inside a merged cell?
No. A floating picture can overlap the signature area. Check placement after editing and in print preview.
Why is the printed stamp smaller?
Check worksheet scaling and Fit to page before regenerating the stamp.
Changing row height stretches the stamp.
Check whether the picture moves and sizes with cells. Decide whether its size should stay fixed, then test a small row change.
